Oliva Serie O Maduro
This evening I smoked an Oliva Serie O Maduro Torpedo and I have to say I really enjoyed it, being my first time smoking this particular Oliva.
Here’s my ICRS review:
Pre-Smoke
Scent at Foot: Sweet, “tobacco barn”
Appearance: Oily sheen, dark, beautiful construction
Feel: Hard throughout, feels like it’s packed and rolled tightly
Tongue: Sweet, tingly
Flavor on Draw: Can’t pick up anything in particular, other than the maduro sweetness
Smoke
Taste: Sweet, hints of coffee and some cocoa here and there
Flavor Changes: After the cigar got to the 2/3rds area, it started really opening up with the maduro flavor and rich tobacco flavor.
Strength: Med-Full
Feeling: Very relaxed mood right now, this only helps!
Scent of Smoke: Rich maduro aroma, pleasant, “not stinky”
Heat: None
Draw: Fairly tight in the beginning, but opened up along the way.
Finish: Sweet maduro finish, with rich tobacco flavors. Long finish.
Other: Beautiful Ash, great construction, good burn…….
FINAL RATING 7.5
That wraps it up, here are some pictures!
