Nub Cameroon
I’ve been seriously slacking off lately. It’s one of those spells where your remote control batteries die and you just end up watching the same channel for seven days because getting up to change the channel just seems so…trite. (Okay, at one point it started getting creepy watching Blues Clues and Dora The Explorer by myself). I guess it’s time for me to review a cigar huh? Well, you’re in luck, ’cause I’m about to put this review all up in your eyeball holes.
The cigar I chose to send to an ashy grave this week was the Nub Cameroon. For those of you who have been following my stupid little reviews here, you may think that I am just choosing the cigars that I enjoy. Well, that’s an accurate thought. You win a fistful of “What the hell else do you expect from me?” Congratulations.
Okay, so these Nubs are interestingly sized, to say the least. If you don’t know the story and idea behind this cigar, I’m not about to repeat it. You can check out reviews and info from all the different cigar blogs out there. Like…. HERE HERE HERE or HERE.
Let me just say that if you haven’t had one of these, you might associate it with smoking one of Shrek’s fingers. Think less ogre and a better draw. Right.
These cigars are badass. They taste awesome, they burn great, and they’re consistent. I honestly have never had a product by Oliva that let me down. I’ve smoked several of these Cameroon-wrapped Nubs and I have had the same experience each time. The wrapper produces a nice, mildly sweet flavor for me on each draw. The burn line is spot on, the ambient smoke aroma is fantastic, and the construction is great. The flavors are somewhat earthy and a little bit peppery. I’m keeping this nice and short and am just going to tell you to pick one up next time you see one. Have a great weekend everyone!

Loved the Shrek reference!
It took me a few times to really appreciate the Cameroon so I’m glad I didn’t give up on it after the first time. Its really a flavorful cigar that has become a late afternoon or early evening cigar.
