thanks mike LOL!
I think I’d rather eat shredded tires than drink that.
LMAO @ “That was a fact, this is an opinion…” Excellent!
Pour = FAIL.
Seriously though, you gotta love it when your beer looks like a giant espresso pour. Russian Imperial Stouts are definitely an acquired taste. I find that for ever good one I have, I probably have 2 or 3 unpleasant burnt ones. Sometimes it’s like somebody melted that bitter baking chocolate into a pint glass.
Mike,
The downside to buying beer in PA is that you are restricted to where you can buy and in what quantity.
For instance, if I want a 6 pack I need to go to a specialty store (6 pack shop) or a pizza shop. Otherwise I need to buy an entire case through a distributor.
Its nice that we don;t have any sort of restriction on alcohol content (that I’m aware of), but variety is tough without buying a whole case.

Walt,
Yeah, that’s part of the reason I frequent Bocktown in Pittsburgh when I visit PA… I can build a 6 pack (or more) instead of having to buy a case. I’m sure that sucks having to buy by the case sometimes! Thanks for cruising over to my site!
Not sure if I’ve ever had a Russian Imperial before, but I love the Sam Smith Imperial. If I ever see something with Imperial in the name I’ll be sure to give it a try.
And BTW….Brutus? Looks more like a little Whimpus to me! j/k! LOL!
Thanks for another great review.
