5 Vegas Serie ‘A’ Robusto
Yo peeps. It’s great to be carving out another cigar review… it’s certainly been a while. It’s Saturday afternoon and I’m chillin’ on the front porch. I’m armed with sweet tea, the new Godsmack album The Oracle, and this 5 Vegas Serie ‘A’ Robusto from Cigars Direct… let’s do this.
Vitals
Name: 5 Vegas Serie ‘A’
Size: 5″ x 52 Artisan (Buy now!)
Wrapper: Costa Rican Maduro
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan, Dominican Republic, Honduran
Origin: Honduras
Construction
Attractive and milk-chocolate colored Maduro wrapper cloaks this cigar. Packed solid with a few soft spots close to the main band
(hopefully won’t cause any trouble). Small veins run the length, no eyesores.
Smoking Characteristics
I used my v-cutter on this 5 Vegas which gave me a perfect draw. It’s been a while since I’ve had a cigar that provided large mouthfuls of smoke the entire time. Very awesome… in fact… this is one of the primary reasons why I enjoy cigars.
Flavors
Not the most complex of Maduro wrappers I’ve ever tasted, but certainly in the better-than-average category. Creamy smoke coated my palate and no harsh overtones. Oh, and I enjoy cigars that don’t make me reach for my beverage of choice after every draw. Darker more complex flavors present midway through, particularly flavors that would pair well with maybe a Porter style beer or fuller flavored coffee. Excellent and smooth.
Overall
For a Maduro, this 5 Vegas Serie ‘A’ Robusto (Artisan) is a must-try for fans of this particular wrapper. I think I could enjoy this stogie over a morning cup of joe anytime! Solid product here. If you’re looking to try this cigar, CigarsDirect has them!

good review – made me want to try it — although it could be that you used the words milk and chocolate….mmmm i want some breakfast…
I figured this would be Italian since it’s called Serie A, which is Italian for Series A.
