CONSTRUCTION
This particular cigar is covered in many small crisscrossing veins, interesting for its overall smaller size. Medium brown with random darker blotches. No soft spots or seemingly troublesome rolling flaws. I typically enjoy larger ring gauge cigars so we’ll see if this will keep my attention…
SMOKING CHARACTERISTICS
I used my v-cutter on this Casa Magna. Noticeably even burn from start to finish. Lots of smoke and brilliant white ash. I was able to keep a 1″ ash the entirety of the smoke time. Nice!
FLAVORS
I find smaller ring gauge cigars produce more intense flavors on my palate. Right out of the gate I got nailed with cedar and caramel flavors. Halfway through it opened up into a natural tobacco sweetness mixed with a little bit of cocoa. I’m extremely happy to have these distinctive flavors appear in such a small cigar! Kudos, Casa Magna!
